Do you have any loved ones or friends suffering from cancer, tumors, arthritis, depression or other previously untreatable illnesses such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s?  What if we can improve the health and happiness to millions around the world using sound?  Dr. Neal Kassell has been invited to Hong Kong to bring awareness to focused ultrasound and the Yale Club and Harvard Club of Hong Kong are honored to host him at this event.  He is the former Chair of neurosurgery at University of Virginia and the neurosurgeon who saved the life of former Vice President of the United States, Joseph Biden.  Dr. Kassell now puts his energy in shaping the future of focused ultrasound.  Focused ultrasound is revolutionary in the medical field; it is an early-stage, non-invasive therapeutic technology with the potential to replace surgeries and drug therapies with outpatient ultrasound treatments for among others, a variety of cancers, neurological diseases and other disorders.  It has already helped and saved a lot of people around the world but is still not so well-known in Hong Kong.
