Secretary Norman Y. Mineta, has a distinguished career as a innovative leader in the fields of transportation, commerce, public policy, and technology. Secretary Mineta serviced in the U. S. House of Representatives for 20 years.  He was appointed Secretary of Commerce by President Bill Clinton, and went on to serve as Secretary of Transportation under President George W. Bush. more

Chubb Fellowship Lecture

“U.S. Security Concerns from Japanese American Internment to 9/11 and ISIL”

The Chubb lecture will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, in the Whitney Humanities Center Auditorium, 53 Wall Street, at 4:30 pm.  Doors will open for seating at 4:10 pm. The lecture is free and open to the public.  It will be followed by a reception for Secretary Mineta with Timothy Dwight Fellows and guests of the College at the Timothy Dwight Master’s house.

This reception is by invitation only.  Following the reception, Master Mary Lui will host a dinner in Secretary Mineta’s honor for Timothy Dwight students and other invited Yale students and guests.
