When Color Meets Ink: The Magic of Chinese Brush Painting

Dawei Sun is an artist from the Shandong Province in China. He is a graduate of the Central Academy of Arts and Design in Beijing, and has collected many awards from entities in Singapore, Taiwan, Europe, and mainland China.

He is a member of the China Artists Association, he’s the Art Director of The Great Wall Society of China, the Society of Promotion in Cultural Exchange of Relations Across Straits, as well as the ‘Master of the Hundred Years’ Art Gallery. His artwork is now part of the collection of The Chinese Military Museum, and the National Art Museum in China. He first visited Yale in 2013 and became an honorary Painting and Calligraphy Group member. This is his second visit to Yale.
