African Women Leaders at Yale

Women today are the engine of Africa. They produce up to 80% of the food, support 40% of the families and manage 90% of the informal economy. They are making very important strides in the world of politics.

The seminar “Leadership, Governance and Globalization: A Forum for Strategic Impact,” which began yesterday at Yale University, New Haven, USA, aims to strengthen participants’ leadership in this field, which is crucial for the future of their countries. The seminar is organized by the Women for Africa Foundation in collaboration with the university, and with the support of Banco Santander, through Santander Universities.
