World Fellow Aziz Royesh on Teaching After the Taliban

2010 World Fellow Aziz Royesh was nominated as a finalist for the Global Teacher Prize, and while he didn’t win the grand prize, it’s a well deserved recognition. Featured in The Guardian, Aziz tells a story of living life as a refugee, working in sweatshops, fleeing his home, returning to Afghanistan and against all odds, setting up now-thriving a co-educational school in Kabul.
